What would you like as a free giveaway?

Written By Spicy P @ 10:19 PM 9 Thoughts
Hi Kids,

So as of lately, my shopping is reaching a frenzied pitch (as a FYI, I don't spend money I can't afford to save! Whatever I spend? I put twice as much into my piggy bank :) My motto? If you are going to spend like your rich? Also SAVE like your rich!

But in a way I guess is good for all of you! I actually wanted your opinion on what interests you?

For example, I have extra new bottles of MAC Oil Control Facial Lotion, dozens of home fragrance oils from the Yanke Candle Company & Bath & Body Works, Lotions, Creams & Fragrances from Bath & Body Works, ect...

So as far as the giveaways go...out of the above, if you were to win? What would you like to have? Or it can be a free premium theme? Who knows! The more I keep experimenting with makeup & difference products the more stuff I accumulate and better to let SOMEONE use it than for it to sit in my closet, especially if its new!

What do you think?

Beauty Haul!

Written By Spicy P @ 8:17 PM 2 Thoughts
Hi Kids!

I hope everyone is ready for the weekend!

So I'm going to start doing 'Beauty Haul's' like they do on youtube. I'm not sure exactly what a beauty haul means to them but to me? It means I just 'hauled my ass down to the nearest store to buy some more stuff'!'

So let's begin! Everything you see here? Is from Sephora.com, eBay & Coastalscents.com.

Sephora Brush Box Set, $35

I'm not sure about you ladies but I have NEVER invested in a brush box! This little beauty comes in either burgundy, black, or white. It has a velvet inside liner that is very soft to the touch. It comes with 3 compartments so you can organize your brushes according to how you use them. You may have face brushes in one, eye brushes in another and pencils in the last. It's SUCH a time saver! I was hesitant on spending $35 for this but I'm so glad I did!

Coastal Scents Professional Camouflage Concealer, $17
Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette, $25

So, I have heard amazing reviews watching youtube tutorials on the quality of Coastal Scents shadows that are relatively inexpensive! I concur ladies! These shadows are of really good quality, considering the price! I HIGHLY recommend the concealer palette! This palette has shades that are excellent for use as a eye primer...I'm debating on whether or not they are beating out my MAC Paint Pots....Hmmm!

NARS Exhibit A Blush, $26,
Stila Champagne Glow Eye Shadow Trio, $32

OMG, ladies! This Exhibit A Blush from Nars? Is NO Joke! It looks hard, it is an extremely bright red that you think would not look good on brown skinned ladies but don't let the color fool you. This is a BOMBSHELL for our skin tones! It looks absolutely LOVELY! I can't rave enough about this blush! It's such a beautful color on brown skin tones - wait...did I just have a blush orgasm?

Stila? This is my first product from them and I'm in love with the line, the shadows are so shimmery and semi sheer that you can do a semi neutral look for work, bring this out of your purse and rev your eyes up for a night on the town!

So all in all? I'm extremely happy with the purchases I've bought (so far - we all know I have more on the way :) I'll review them for you once they arrive)

P.S. The NYX white looking pencils? I bought these on eBay for I think $2.50 each. A great buy for a great product! These are eye pencils and I use them as a eyeshadow base, eyeshadow by itself, inner crease highlights and brow highlights! I will definitely stock up on more! The cheapest alternative to a beautiful look!

If you have any questions, please leave a comment. I'm actually on www.wowsocool.com getting some more nail stamping supplies :)

Have a good weekend!

Happy Blogging!

Glowing Review = Origins, DIE SLOW = Ulta.com

Written By Spicy P @ 12:09 AM 0 Thoughts
Hi Kids,

So if you follow me on twitter you know I have money to burn. I set aside about $1200 bucks just to spend spend spend! (ahem, yea my baby has no idea about it, not even questioning where his new EVO came from lol he makes twice as much as I do so I have NO CLUE how he hasn't figured it out lol but as long as I pay our rent & bills on time he doesn't seem to care = LUCKY ME)

Anyway, I have been SHOPPING! Origins, Mac, Sephora, Nordstrom's, Follica.com & Ulta.com...so lets start out with my review of ulta.com and how I hope they slowly burn in hell!.

So I'm a big hair girl, I love to keep my locks looking nice and I spare NO expensive when it comes to my hair! So I decided to finally order a Sedu 1 1/2 Tourmaline flat iron. They say retail its almost $300, but constantly 'on sale' for $130. So I went to ulta.com and bought that, some Urban Decay, Peter Roth & Two Faced products. The total came to around $300. No biggie! So I PAY for the item...after I put in my credit card number...BOOM the screen asks me to put it in AGAIN!

WTF? I call my credit card company to see if there were any pending debits? YES, from Ulta.com for $317.48. I call Ulta.com and say, "What the hell? You took over $300 from my account but I never received a confirmation of my order or even an acknowledgment saying that I was ever on your site'. After about 15 minutes of trying to find my account. (I swear the girl sounded so blond I could imagine her twirling her hair around her fingers). She said she saw no record that I had ever spent any money.

So I popped a Midol and calmly asked to speak to a manager. What did the manager say? 'Even though our side may not show that you made a purchase, clicking the submit button will always create a 'authorization' and the money will be deducted. The only thing I can tell you is to try again and see if it goes through.'

I shit you not, that is what she said! "So you want me to give you another $300 to HOPE it goes through?" She said 'Well hopefully it does, in the mean time it will take 3-4 business days for your money to be returned to you.' While she's talking? I'm not even really listening, I'm just thinking about how I WISH when I bought my glock they would have given me a license to carry...

So I hang up the phone, after telling her EXACTLY what I thought of ulta.com and how I was going on a mission to let people know the service they can expect to receive when they shop at their site!. Oh well!

So on to a GLOWING REVIEW!

Origins 'Night-A-Mins' $36, Origins 'Super Charged Moisture' $36

After that experience, I went to origns to stock up on some more moisturizer. I LOVE their line but was sadly dissappointed with the 'Super Charged' Moisturizer (white bottle). I'm naturally oily and this moisturizer left me feeling dry and oily at the same time which is why I only used it at bedtime and NEVER before my makeup!

So I went to their site before going to the store and saw WONDERFUL 5 STAR reviews on their 'High Potency Night-A-Mins' Here is a excerpt from the Origins site...

"Let the hypnotic aromas of nature’s nightcaps summon the sandman. Newly-formulated with extra vitamins (including B-complex, C, E and A), extra minerals and exfoliating extracts, this mega moisture cream fortifies skin’s own nocturnal nature to help it repair damage done by day and rebuild itself to face tomorrow. Worn out cells are gently released to reveal brighter, more youthful texture and tone. Skin awakens rested, renewed and richly replenished. How to use: Sweep over face and throat at bedtime."

This stuff is amazing! I just used it for the first time 30 minutes ago and I am SUER impressed! It was a thick creamy texture (a little goes a long way) it went on Matte and stayed matte! I don't have that dry, pinched feeling to my face and not ONE drop of oil or shininess! I am unbelievably impressed by this product and highly recommend it to anyone who has a very oily face before washing and a very dry and pinched face after washing. I'd definitely go out and get this product!
