My happiest moment is the birth of my beautiful baby girl, and the day I married my high school sweetheart. Both days changed my life for the better. And I know these moments will forever be my Happiest Moments.. The love I have for both of these moments will forever be cherished.

My happiest moment was when my brother came out, publicly. I knew he was gay for a long time before he came out, and he was so scared to let our dad know (redneck republican, need I say more?). My brother was shaking and almost chickened out, but when he finally did it, you could see the relief on his face. Our dad gave him a hug and told him he would love him no matter what his orientation was. I cried my eyes out! My brothers are like my kids, so this was huge for me!

My happiest moment was when my husband surprised our son and me by coming home early from Iraq, on our son's birthday. It was a real surprise, we weren't expecting him home for another 2 months (he had been gone almost 4 months when he came home). He just showed up at our doorstep, his best friend went and picked him up from the airport. It was just amazing to see him home, safe and on a very special and important day. I cried, and then we celebrated our son's 5th birthday by going out to eat and giving him his presents. He was actually sent home early because the rotation schedule was shifted. That was about two years ago and he's been home safe with us since :)

@Elsa! That's a good one! How he kept that a secret is beyond me. I could just have imagined your faces when you saw him at the door!
